Kolin Tang is a seasoned litigator with over a decade of experience in complex civil litigation nationwide. Kolin is well-versed in many areas of the law, ranging from contract disputes, corporate governance, employment benefits, regulatory compliance, securities fraud, and wage and hour disputes. He has resolved potential lawsuits through pre-filing negotiations and has also taken cases through trial, as well as the appellate process.
Regardless of the similarities between facts and legal issues, Kolin understands that every client’s mindset and goals are unique. He tailors his representation based on that approach, and obtains results that match the client’s overall objectives.
Kolin has also advised clients on contract negotiation, employee termination, and entity formation, leveraging his litigation experience to focus on achieving the client’s objectives and minimizing potential avenues of dispute.
He is admitted to practice law in the State of California and the State of New Jersey, as well as before all federal district courts of California and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. He received his undergraduate degree in Economics and History, with honors, from the University of California, Berkeley in 2006. He obtained his juris doctorate from The George Washington University Law School in 2011, where he was a member of The George Washington International Law Review.
