Judge Rules In Favor Of Client After Two Day Trial

In her latest victory, Shareholder Teri Pham, together with bankruptcy counsel, Leslie Cohen of Leslie Cohen Law, successfully defended ERLP’s client against claims of fraudulent conveyance. On January 28, 2015, after a two day trial in the United States Bankruptcy Court before Judge Robin Riblet, the Court found in favor of ERLP’s client on all issues. This win concludes over two and a half years of extensive litigation.

In this long running dispute, the Bankruptcy Trustee sought to recover over $2.5 million in alleged transfers from the bankruptcy debtor to his wife. After presentation of evidence and testimony from multiple witnesses and experts, the Court determined that the Trustee lacked sufficient evidence to prove any fraudulent transfers and entered judgment in favor of ERLP’s client.
