David Glass, Managing Partner of EPGR, appeared on Good Morning America to discuss the competing appeals in the Depp-Heard matter.

In the latest on the Johnny Depp vs. Amber Heard’s very public defamation case, Depp has filed a notice of appeal seeking to overturn the $2M verdict awarded to Heard for the single count of defamation. “Appeals have less than 2% chance of success because the court of appeals gives wide discretion to the trial court,” David Glass told GMA. He added that it would be very difficult to win an appeal in a civil matter. This will continue to be an ongoing battle for both sides.
